Greetings!
I’m Daniele (but you can call me Dan!) and I’m the founder of Your Italian Legacy. Born and raised in Milan, Italy, I’m currently pursuing a degree in Archival Studies at one of Italy’s leading universities. Since 2019, I’ve been immersed in the fascinating world of family history research, combining both online investigations and in-person archival work. My extensive experience spans working with municipal records, parish documents, and various archives to uncover the stories of people with Italian heritage. I am also a member of the Association of Professional Genalogists, of the Associazione Genealogica della Sardegna and of the New York-based Italian Genealogical Group.
My passion is helping descendants of the Italian diaspora reconnect with their roots and rediscover the places their ancestors once called home.
